ST KLIDA & MOOOOOMBA!

Been really busy with i don't quite know what, but i'm more or less settled down and ready for this new sem in melb which i'm starting to love. This weekend's packed with all sorts of activities, from yoga to the mediacorp event to housewarming, and the girls are already making plans easter hols. Mom just left yesterday. Well, i think that i'm taking it quite well this time although the parting moment was awful. It did help when mom's flight was delayed by 3 hours and she came back to town, so we could have a quick dinner. But I think she did it more for shopping cos she headed straight to DFO at spencer. Such a shopaholic! she would have stayed in the airport if melb has better dutyfree shopping in there. I have so much to update! i'll start with st klida beach first cos it's what i love most here!

It's been warm these days, which is nice cos it makes me feel at home, but i definitely dread the days when the temp hits 35 or even above! But a sunny day is definitely great for ST KLIDA!!! (i remember having a picnic there last winter-going-spring. isn't the wisest thing to do)

Here comes the bimbotic picture that sums up how much I love this place

HEAVEN

Then it was MOOMBA the next day. It's some water festival which i have no idea what's the point of celebrating that every year. Anyhow, it's good fun! Gave the rides at the carnival a miss. But it was trilling enough watching others scream and turn up there in the air. The ride similar to G-max in sg is about twice the height?! and of course you can't compare the inverter in escape to the ones there. No pictures of that. i don't know why. Anyway, the best part of this festival is the fireworks! The photos don't do them enough justice. U got to be there, along Yarra River, right in front the display! we were so close that i was almost blinded by it. AWESOME SHIT. I never thought fireworks could be this pretty.
