I had this sudden urge to delete this blog after reading some random blogs and it suddenly hit me that privacy is quite an important issue. You know, like how we would know what this person did, do and is going to do, or how they feel and is going through as though they are our good friend, even though we don't know the person at all! It's funny how we would actually bother? sometimes, it could even be a hot topic for gossip. (oh,if you don't agree, i admit that i'm guilty of that. sometimes. if that person's attractive or witty that is. or maybe a total opposite would attract my attention too!)Well, then again, it's not like i pen down my most private emotions here. This blog only serves as an surface update to my friends. YOU who I cherish so much, but ain't able to catch up that often.(esp, when i'm away) I know, the irony. But lets just say that technology is allowing us to be lazy. Things like Friendster and Facebook. Great stuff? hur. Not only it's the new yellow pages, it's the tool that you need if you want to be the best friend who remembers each and every one's birthday, contacts, likes, dislikes and even recent updates and photos. oh well, pros or cons? you decide. But no doubt, we are depending too much on them. so much, that some of us have become "stalker-like". How I miss the autograph books in primary school!(The one that is exclusively only for real friends and not cyber ones, the one which we categorise our friends into "gold friends", "silver" and "bronze" and write poems like "bird fly high, hard to catch, friend like you, hard to forget" and of course signing off with "Friendz 4eva!" hahaha!!) random. very random.
I don't know what's my point actually. It's not like i detest passerby, but neither am I seeking for attention. I'll just remove my name off here and disable the search engine thingy. I'll update again when I get back to melb, when i got time to spare.
till then, my friends!
I'm thankful that our friendship did not distant but matured
I'm thankful that you are making an effort to see who I really am.
I'm thankful that through you, I learn.
And I'm thankful that you heard me and got me here. :)

Still considering about the Thailand mission trip. Well, Daddy and Mummy will be flying off tt morning i get back. I miss it by a few hours! But Daddy seems so keen of me to join them. And also, his birthday falls on that fri. It'll be nice if i could spend it with him. It'll be another celebration on the plane!
ELI TAN! Where are youuuuuu?!
it's the usual weekends girls' night out with great food, great company, great fun!
Steamboat is LOVE in such chilly weather!

shisha goes so well with belly dancing. and of course us, babes. LOL.

It was a stressful week for Weiling who didn't even have the mood to join us for steamboat that day! But anyway, i got her out last Sunday! Girls all love retail therapy, i realised. (or maybe it was the baos at the chinese shop!) I hope that did help her feel better :)
On the way, there was some may day demostration. We were figuring out what exactly they were protesting about. There were various banners. Some about labour rights, some about iraq war, some about human rights. I don't see the link, really. Then we say we would catch the news to find out, but I guess it's just singaporean to not to bother about all these.

Random:
Dr Phil’s show about lies and deception today got me thinking. He brought on show this woman whose husband’s a conman. Very well, never judge a book by its cover. Just like you, me, him or her, you wouldn’t know who around you is capable of deception. He doesn’t need any reasons to cheat. Or even if there is one that we never know of (perhaps for self-satisfaction), it wouldn’t be sensible to cheat when you do know someday the truth will reveal itself. To him, it doesn’t matter. But what’s appalling is that even when the lies are exposed, he goes on denying as if he’s living his own reality. He speaks with such eloquence, which puts me in doubt of my own judgments. It is that, which he uses to manipulate your mind. So sly and clever. I see in his eyes, neither guilt nor remorse. He goes on making accusation of others, blaming each one and every of them except for himself. It’s upsetting to watch how helpless his wife is. I feel so much for her trying to get him to face the fact, or to simply understand the motives behind those lies. Lies after lies. You just get so immune and surrender your own reality to fit his. Lying’s a cycle, which isn’t easy to break away from. Once you get started with one, you’ll need another and many more to complete the tale. I don’t condemn him though. ’Cause many a time, people find escape from reality in bad times in order to carry on with life. In his world, he is who is wants to be. He sees it, believes it and lives it. The deeper he falls, the more he drifts away from reality. It’s a comforting process indeed, however, never a remedy. And this will not do when his actions are hurting the people around them. It’s just not fair.
Well, lies are just not cool, although somehow we are all capable of commiting.
Remember, MORALS.. people.. MORALS!
Let that be history. :)

Actually hor...
I shouldn't be here. but since Cindy gave me a reason to blog, i'll do a quick one.
Well, the very random heading for this entry is an inside joke and i'm thinking that i'll sound rather dumb explaining the whole story. Cos ACTUALLY HOR.. probably no one would get the humour which got us all entertained the whole night..and perhaps even days after. (It's gonna haunt you, Cindy!)
Yes. ok. And also, they witnessed my EXTREMELY RARE blonde moment with my "superb" sense of directions.
Korean and that invisible arm!

SINFUL yet XING FU
Just came back from a really satisfying dinner. MA LA steamboat in chinatown and GRACO for dessert at crown! Best tiramisu and sticky date pudding i ever had! YUM.

It was as if I was 3 months pregnant after the steamboat and 5 months by the time we finish the cakes! Indeed, it was awfully SINFUL yet XING FU!
I just LOVE LOVE good food! can't wait to dine at 15, that Jamie Oliver's restaurant. how i wish Gordon Ramsy has one here too. i'm seeing him too much on tv lately and drooling at the sight of his dishes. I don't care even if I'm growing sideways, i live to eat! haha.. YA RIGHT! (I'm still very much a vainpot. so, no Mel, i'm not giving up on my diet and Cindy, i'm still jogging with you. haha..)
5 minutes after dinner today i went, "so what are we having next week?!"
Cherie was like "HUH?!" (it could match up to my "YA!")
But hey! It's good motivation alright! enough to last me till the end of the week. :D
I haven't been updating so i'll make up for it now and this is what we did in the previous weeks..
Karaoke..
that day we went crazy singing oldies. Weiling and i were crooning to this cheesy song that went, "wo xuan zhe le ni, ni xuan zhe le wo. zhe shi wo men de xuan zhe!" lol! I remember this being the first song i ever sang in the karaoke sesions my aunts and uncles used to have. i was only 3 then and i was practically singing rubbish! it's the sweetest song ever even though it makes my hair stand!

DIM SUM!!

how very happy..
EVE.

Yes. we are karaoke addicts.
I thought i was a rock star but i had them staring blankly back at me. haha.. no idea why the atmosphere was rather dead that night. I thought probably cos they were sick of karaoke but we had mel asking us out to sing again the next day! Apparently she's addicted to that voice of a friend of her bro's. She was like a little girl craving for sweets! silly girl. :D

Cherie and her FP with their "I want to share a whole new world with you.." AWW..

Yeah! I'm finally done! gosh. Blogging is so time-consuming! i know, i should have better things to do.
Thank you very much and good night. :)
